Thank you for your interest in partnering with The Labari Journal. These guidelines exist to ensure that every piece of sponsored content meets the standards our readers expect — and that your brand is represented with clarity, integrity, and purpose.
1. Content Standards & Tone
The Labari Journal has a distinct voice — thoughtful, grounded, and reader-first. All sponsored content must reflect that.
We accept content that:
- Is accurate, well-researched, and honest in its claims
- Offers genuine value to our readers — informative, insightful, or community-relevant
- Aligns with the topics and themes The Labari Journal covers
- Is written in clear, accessible language free of excessive jargon
We do not accept content that:
- Makes misleading, unverified, or exaggerated claims
- Promotes products, services, or ideologies that conflict with our editorial values
- Targets or exploits vulnerable audiences
Our editorial team reserves the right to request revisions or decline any submission that does not meet these standards.
2. Disclosure & Labeling
All sponsored content published on The Labari Journal will be clearly identified so our readers always know what they are engaging with.
- All sponsored articles will carry a “Sponsored” or “Partner Content” label, prominently placed at the top of the piece.
- Event partnerships will be acknowledged in all related communications — online, in print, and on-site where applicable.
- Sponsored content will never be designed to look identical to our standard editorial content.
These disclosure practices are in line with standard industry ethics and applicable advertising regulations.
3. Review & Approval Process
All sponsored content goes through a structured review before publication. Here is what to expect:
Step 1 — Initial Proposal
Email your brief to hi@labarijournal.com. Include your brand overview, content type (article or event partnership), proposed topic or concept, and target publication date. Our team will respond within 48 hours.
Step 2 — Alignment Check
If your proposal is a good fit, we will schedule a brief call or exchange to align on goals, tone, format, and timeline before any content is created.
Step 3 — Content Submission
Submit your draft or event details by the agreed deadline. First drafts should be as complete as possible — including any preferred imagery, links, or calls to action.
Step 4 — Editorial Review
Our team will review your submission against these guidelines. We may request revisions for clarity, accuracy, tone, or compliance. We aim to return feedback within 24 hours.
Step 5 — Final Approval & Publication
Once the content meets our standards, we will confirm a publication or event date.
4. Pricing & Payment Terms
Sponsorship rates are based on content type, placement, and scope. Below is an overview of our general structure:
| Content Type | Base Rate |
|---|---|
| Sponsored Article (up to 800 words) | GHS 700 / USD 60 |
| Sponsored Article (800–1,500 words) | GHS 800 / USD 70 |
Payment terms:

For custom packages or long-term partnership enquiries, please mention this in your initial proposal, and we will be happy to discuss options.
